Seeking Purpose for your Life?

Have you ever wondered what your purpose in life is? Why you were born? Why you even exist?

Maybe you’re very successful. You have a great job. A job you love to go to each day. Or maybe it’s not a great job you love to go to but it’s one that allows you to have financial freedom. You don’t lay awake at night wondering how you’re going to pay your bills and you can enjoy the many extra curricular activities.
You have a wonderful family you love and cherish very much. Perfect? No. Because there are no perfect people, but ones you love to wake up with each morning and spend good quality time with.
You live in your dream home. A home you can call your own. A home that puts a smile on your face and a warmth in your heart …  ‘your’ home.
You have an awesome personality that people are automatically drawn to and are loved by friends on and off Facebook equally.

But even with all or some of this, you still feel an emptiness inside? The question mark of “what is this all for?” Most of the time that thought can be pushed down inside and forgotten about, but it always comes back and each time a little stronger until it can’t be ignored anymore … And it leaves you feeling all alone.

God wants you to know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14)
You were made by Him. (John 1:3)
He knows you. (Psalm 139:1)
He Himself knit you together in your mother’s womb. (Psalm 139:13)
He saw your unformed body and all the days ordained for you were written in His book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139:16)
He even knows how many hairs are on your head. (Luke 12:7)

That’s how much He loves you! He created you with a purpose in mind. Not to just flounder about and exist. He knows the plans He has for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you HOPE and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Psalm 139:6 says, “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.”
We don’t understand everything about God, but without Him, we don’t understand anything about Him.

Every life was created by God and He desires for us to know Him the way He knows us. He wants us to experience the love He has for us and therefore be able to love Him the same way He loves us.

If you haven’t experienced this fulfillment of God, you can. You can ask Jesus to be the lord of your life even now. You can say this prayer and Jesus will come into your heart and lead and guide you from now on. He’s absolutely wonderful!
“Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and turn from doing things my own way. I surrender my heart to You and ask You to come live inside me. I make You my Lord and Savior! I believe that You died for me on the cross so I can live with You forever in Heaven. I receive Your forgiveness Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

If you prayed this prayer, let us know here, so we can pray for you and rejoice with you!

Maybe you’ve had a relationship with God and walked away from it, but you’re ready to come back. He is ready with arms open wide to welcome you back into a relationship with Him.

If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the comment section below. Anything we can do to help, it is our desire to do so.

We here at Fresh Grace For Today are greatly saddened by the horrific Las Vegas shooting last night and will be praying for all the victims and their families.
