She Believed She Could

FOR I CAN DO EVERYTHING THROUGH CHRIST,
WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH.
Philippians 4:13 ❤ (Verse on Bible Hub)

SHE BELIEVED SHE COULD

She believed she could, so she did

God can drop something down in my spirit and even when I have NO DOUBT that it was Him, I find myself hesitating to act on it! Even more, sometimes it goes way beyond hesitation to the point where I’m pretty sure He’s already looking for somebody else to use for His purpose!

We all have our own reasons why we don’t respond when He calls us to step out, don’t we?

“We don’t have enough faith, time, money, support, talent, vision, experience …”

Personally, my biggest excuse for many years was my fear of failure. But did you know that a fear of failure can be paralyzing? You won’t just have trouble finishing things, you may also have a lot of stuff you never even started!

I DIDN’T BELIEVE I COULD, SO I DIDN’T! But would God ask us to take a step into something new and then let us fall? He is asking us to rely on His faithfulness and strength, not our own.

“God is able to bless you abundantly,
so that in all things at all times,
having all that you need, you will
abound in every good work.”
2 Corinthians 9:8 (Verse on Bible Hub)

SHE BELIEVED SHE COULD, SO SHE DID

When God asks us to do something, He is really just asking us to join Him in what He has already started. We may be stepping into unknown territory, but He’s not! And He will generously equip us to do our part when we respond to Him in faith.

Think about it:

God is NOT a created Being. There is
no one like Him or above Him.
1 Kings 8:23 (Verse in Bible Hub)

Therefore, He is not waiting or dependent on someone else coming through before He can assist you!

Our powerful Father stretched out the heavens, created
all the stars, and performs countless miracles.
Job 9:8-10 (Passage on Bible Gateway)

He can orchestrate the right circumstances to be set into motion in your life!

Our Papa is rich! EVERYTHING belongs to Him!
He owns the cattle on a thousand hills.
Psalm 50:10 (Verse on Bible Hub)

He can get the money into your hands if needed!

Our eternal God is not constrained by time. His understanding
is beyond us and He never becomes weary or tired!
Isaiah 40:28 (Verse on Bible Hub)

He caused the sun to stand still for Joshua … He can create ‘time’ for you where there was none before!

WHAT WILL WE DO NOW THAT WE KNOW WE HAVE NO VALID EXCUSES LEFT TO HIDE BEHIND?

She believed she could, so she did

Right now, the new year stretches before you like an open book with clean white pages. But to God, He already sees your story written within those pages. You just see the front cover of the book. He already saw the beginning of the first chapter where He invited you to join Him all the way through to the curtain closing on the last chapter.

He said “That’s my girl!” when you accepted His invitation to participate in your story. He nodded when you let Him move the wrong people out of your life and He brought the right friends into your story to help you come up higher. A little closer to Him.

Awee yes. Those God appointed relationships are so important because we can’t accomplish anything alone.

We need sweet fellowship with ladies who love Jesus as much as you do! Those friends will always point you to Him. They will encourage you towards your God given dream. They will celebrate your victories with you. God places these friends in our lives to help us accomplish His purpose for us.

BE THE LEADING LADY IN YOUR OWN STORY

She believed she could, so she did

When you were a little girl, didn’t you ever wish you could step into that one special book? A story where you found your true love and lived victoriously ever after? Well, sweet friend, God has already written that story and you are His leading lady!

Jesus is your true love and He has already overcome the world! John 16:33

There’s just a couple of things you need to do! Believe Him and catch His vision for you!

Take Jesus at His Word because IN HIM, YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS! Philippians 4:13

So will you step into your story? Jesus is waiting and He will NEVER fail you!

May God brag about YOU, His beautiful daughter: “In Me, she believed she could, so she did!”

“I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun!
Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”
Isaiah 43:19 (Verse on Bible Hub)

  1. God’s been whispering to me that “I can.” I think a lot of times I fall for the idea that the things I want to accomplish are just too far out of reach. But God’s telling me “I can.” And not just “I can,” but “Do It. Reach for it.” It’s been amazing watching God work things out and make things happen as I apply myself and keep reaching for the next thing.

    1. I tend to look at it that way at times also! That the things I want to accomplish are out of my reach because I am looking at my own strength and abilities, and not God’s. Praying for you Lady! In Jesus, you can do it!! XO Donna

  2. I am looking for new pages in this new year. Where the Lord continues to write my life story. “She believed she could ” is basically a line from my life as well. When I stepped out on faith, I didn’t know what and where my next step would be. But God remains in control and ever faithful. Blessings Donna!

    1. Awe blessings to you also Diana! Praying for you my friend! God has got you in the palms of His hands and will NEVER let go!! Blessings to you! XO Donna

  3. This reminds me of a quote I was reading, “One day or Day one, the choice is yours”. Stepping out on faith doesn’t mean we know or have it all figured out it just require us to trust God no matter what it looks like. In my past I would hesitate to do things I know God was asking of me because I feared rejection. When I stepped out on faith and just trust God it didn’t matter how others perceived me. God’s strength is perfect in my weakness.

    1. Tara oh most definitely! I have gone through that also! Praying for you to have a fearless year of believing God and stepping out into all He has for you sweet friend! XO Donna
