Blessed is She Who Believed

God's mercies are new every morning, great is His faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23
Have you ever wondered what your purpose in life is?
Why you were born? Why do you even exist?
Maybe you’re very successful. You have a great job. A job you love to go to each day.
Or perhaps, maybe it’s not a great job but it’s one that allows you to have financial freedom. You don’t lay awake at night wondering how you’re going to pay your bills and you can enjoy many extra curricular activities.
For example, maybe you have a wonderful family that you love and cherish very much. Are they perfect? No. There are no perfect people, but you have the ones you love to wake up with each morning and spend good quality time with.
Again, maybe you live in your dream home. A home you can call your own. A home that puts a smile on your face and warmth in your heart. YOUR home.
You have an awesome personality and people are automatically drawn to you.
But even with all or some of this going on, do you still feel an emptiness inside?
The question is, “what is all this for?”
Most of the time that thought can be pushed down deep inside and forgotten, but it always comes back up. Each time a little stronger until it can’t be ignored anymore. And it leaves you feeling all alone.
Above all, God wants you to know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14)
You were made by Him. (John 1:3)
He knows you. (Psalm 139:1)
He Himself knit you together in your mother’s womb. (Psalm 139:13)
All the days ordained for you were written in His book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139:16)
He even knows how many hairs are on your head. (Luke 12:7)
That’s how much He loves you! He created you with a purpose in mind. Not to just flounder about and exist.
