“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared for in advance for us to do.” Eph 2:10 NIV
Did you know God created you to fulfill an important role and calling?
As Christians, we know we’re called to love our neighbors, respect our spouses and steward our children well. But many of us are uncertain how to practically follow God’s will on an everyday basis.
Or we may wonder how to discover our unique purpose or role in God’s Kingdom for such a time as this.
In addition, we don’t always know how to navigate the difficult conversations or situations we may find ourselves in. As Believers in Christ, our hearts want to honor God and do the right thing. I love how the author doesn’t hold back in tackling the touchy stuff, like all the division and the fighting over preferences, that we are witnessing between Christians today.
There’s a huge difference between following religious rules and following Christ …
The Bible is full of wisdom, direction, and encouragement to help us discover and follow God’s will for our lives.
Whether we’re seeking God’s will in the big decisions, such as moving or job changes, or even the smaller decisions like how to respond to our friends or co-workers.
However, it can sometimes be difficult to know where in the Bible to find the answers we are desperately searching for. Another hindrance might be: how on earth do we relate to something that was written thousands of years ago and set in a very different culture than ours?
In Follow God’s Will: Biblical Guidelines for Everyday Life, we learn that following God’s will means loving Him and others right where we find ourselves now, with the unique gifts and talents He has blessed us with.
The author also shares a Biblical framework and practical solutions to help us to:
- Hear God’s voice and understand His Word.
- Determine for ourselves what is His will for our lives.
- Make good decisions for big and small choices/situations.
This book will take you on a thoughtful journey to consider what God would want you to do today. Brittany Ann accomplishes this by having us take a closer look at Jesus’ teachings in the Gospels to figure out what God has for us personally. She shows us how the Holy Spirit and the Word can help us decipher and confirm whether we are hearing God’s voice or our own thoughts.
You may have wrestled with questions such as:
- “What does God want me to do with my life?”
- “Where is God leading me next?” or
- “How do I handle this difficult situation I’m in?”
Thankfully, this is where Follow God’s Will: Biblical Guidelines for Everyday Life can help! The author addresses these questions and even more! With awesome practical advice, in-depth Bible study, and real-life examples, this book provides the biblical framework you need to answer some tough questions today!

This looks like a truth-filled, inspiring book! I love the focus on seeking what God wants US to do individually. It’s so easy to start looking around at what everyone else is doing and try to model them, but God gives us each specific assignments!
This is so true – it is so easy to compare ourselves to everyone else. Love that God has a plan for each of us!
