Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! (Ps 33:12 ESV)

Hi friend! America has faced many dark hours in our nation’s history. But sadly, we’re now struggling to come together as Americans to protect and defend the freedoms that our fore-fathers died to secure for us because we’ve forgotten who we are and what we stand for.

The enemy is dividing us and darkening people’s minds, driving them to incite insurrection and lawlessness while using their hatred for our President to justify their violent behavior.

Politicians forget they’re public servants and focus more on gaining power and control than protecting the rights of all American Citizens. God’s people, the Christians and Jews, are under demonic attack. This is not a political battle. This is spiritual warfare and we must seek God’s heart so we can pray His will for America’s future.

Scripture Guided Prayers for our Broken Nation

Help us to remember who we are
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord … (Ps 33:12) 

Lord, our nation was founded by You. Help us set aside political differences and unite to protect the freedoms our forefathers died to give us. Raise up leaders to put You and America first before their agendas and expose/dismantle the evil leaders. Restore the Constitution which gives our government less control in our lives, not more. Bring back our country’s foundation of faith, family and freedom. Amen.

Help Cleanse our Land of Anti-Semitism
I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you … (Genesis 12:3)

LORD, You are Yahweh, the Holy God of Israel. When we repent and receive Yeshua Jesus as our Lord and Savior, You graciously graft us in with Your people. So, to be Christian IS to stand with Israel. Those who deny this are not reading their Bibles. Our Nation is founded on Judeo-Christian values. LORD, strike down the demons who denounce this truth and call it ‘white supremacy.’ Cleanse our land of all the demonic anti-semitism trying to take root and bless our nation once again! Amen.

Help us to humble ourselves before You
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves … (2 Chron 7:14)

Lord, remind us of our need and dependence on You. Help us to turn from sinful behavior and seek Your heart and Your will for America. We know humility is the first step in restoring a right relationship with You as we stand in the gap for our beloved Nation. We receive and declare Your promise of restoration for us. Please turn many hearts back to Yourself and heal our land. Amen.

Help keep Your Church from worldly distractions
Those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on things of the Spirit … (Rom 8:5)

Jesus, help us to stay focused on our God given mission here on this side of eternity! Let Your love and truth rise up despite the increasing hate and division in our nation. May our care and concern for others draw them nearer to You. Help us to focus more on advancing the Gospel than chasing our own agendas. Protect us from ungodly temptations and reignite our passion for You. Amen. 

Help us to love our neighbors as You do
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another … (1 John 4:11)

Lord, help us to love our neighbors as You love them. Let Your divine love and truth rise up amid ever increasing division and turmoil in our nation. This is no longer left vs the right. This is darkness vs the light, evil vs good. This is a spiritual battle for the heart of every American citizen. We need to keep lifting all people up whether we like them or not. Help us to pray boldly for revival to rise up. Amen.

Help us remember who our real enemy is
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood … (Ephesians 6:12)

Lord, we need to remember who is behind all the chaos in our land. You declare woe to those who call evil good and good evil (Isa 5:20). This confusion is orchestrated by Satan himself, who came to steal, kill and destroy. Help us to pray for all our leaders, even the corrupt ones who have no idea they are being used by the enemy to advance his agenda of destroying our sovereign Nation. Amen.

Help us to be a powerful shining light in the darkness
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it … (John 1:5)

Lord, the enemy of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers to keep them from seeing the light of Christ (2 Cor 4:4). May the light of Jesus shine bright and illuminate the darkness for those who are far from You right now. Please turn many hearts back to Yourself and make a way for revival to take root in our land. Let us be a powerful, shining light to nonbelievers. Amen.

In closing, let’s pray for God to heal the division and chaos in our land and unite us once again as one nation under Him. I pray America will stand as a beacon of hope for every other nation in this world. Lord, guide us according to Your will and Your good plans for us. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord! Amen.
