Hi friend! America has faced many dark hours in our nation’s history. But sadly, we’re now struggling to come together as Americans to protect and defend the freedoms that our fore-fathers died to secure for us because we’ve forgotten who we are and what we stand for.

The enemy is dividing us and darkening people’s minds, driving them to incite insurrection and lawlessness while using their hatred for our President to justify their violent behavior.

Politicians forget they’re public servants and focus more on gaining power and control than protecting the rights of all American Citizens. God’s people, the Christians and Jews, are under demonic attack. This is not a political battle. This is spiritual warfare and we must seek God’s heart so we can pray His will for America’s future.

Scripture Guided Prayers for our Broken Nation

Help us to Humble Ourselves Before You
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land … (2 Chron 7:14)

Lord, before we ask You to heal the division in our land, we ask for healing in Your church. Help us to lay down our own pride, forgive one another, and do our part to come together in humility and in (powerful) unity, as one mind and one body in Christ. You said the prayers of a righteous person are powerful and effective. Help us die to ourselves so we can stand in the gap and intercede on behalf of our beloved Nation. Please turn all hearts back to You and heal our land. Amen.

Help us Remember Who We Are
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen for His own inheritance … (Ps 33:12) 

Lord, our nation was founded in You and we need your help now! Help us unite to protect the freedoms our forefathers died to give us. Raise up leaders who walk in integrity and put You and America first, who would never accept money in secret to betray us and do evil. Bring prayer back into our classrooms and raise up those who respect the sanctity of life and marriage and honor our Flag and Constitution. Please restore our country’s foundation of faith, family and freedom. Amen. 

Help Cleanse our Land of Anti-Semitism
I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you … (Genesis 12:3)

LORD, You are Yahweh, the Holy God of Israel. When we profess faith in Yeshua Jesus as our Lord and Savior, You graft us in with Your people. To be a Christian is to stand with Israel. Those who deny this truth don’t read their bibles so the truth is not in them. Our Nation is founded on Judeo-Christian values. Please strike down the demons denouncing this truth as white supremacy and christian nationalism. Please purge our land of this evil and bless our nation once again! Amen.

Help Keep Your Church from Worldly Distractions
Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. … (Rom 8:5)

Jesus, help us stay focused on YOU and rightly steward the gifts you’ve given us to point others to the Hope found only in You. Help us stay prayed up, deeply rooted in Your Word and steadfastly anchored in Your love so we’re not pulled in by this demonic chaos and massive confusion. Help us to set aside our preferences, our agenda and our plans to focus on Your will and Your beautiful heart for our Nation and the good of all her Citizens. Amen. 

Help us to Love our Neighbors as You Do
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another … (1 John 4:11)

Lord, the healing and revival we seek will begin to rise up when we take seriously the godly stewardship of the people You bring into our daily lives. To love others as You do, we need to have courage to speak Your truth in love always. We pray our children, neighbors, co-workers, and even our enemies can recognize from our words and actions that there’s something different about us, that we’ve been with Jesus. We pray boldly for revival to rise up in our land. Amen.

Help us Remember who our Real Enemy is
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. … (Ephesians 6:12)

Lord, we know who our real enemy is and he’s been re-framing Your Truth as hate speech in a desperate attempt to trap the lost souls deeper in his darkness. He’s gotten bolder and no longer conceals himself as his demons manifest through humans like never before, to steal, kill and destroy our western society. The ancient prophets spoke of this time, when evil is called good and good is called evil. Help us stay armored up and prayed up, like never before, for such a time as this. Amen.

Help us to be a Powerful Shining Light in the Darkness
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it… (John 1:5)

Lord, the enemy of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers to keep them from seeing the light of Christ (2 Cor 4:4). BUT GOD! You are still on the throne and the enemy knows the end of the story. May we keep our lamps filled with Your oil, our wicks trimmed and Your light brightly shining as we watch for Your return. Turn all hearts back to You and supernaturally make a way for revival to rise up in our land. Let us be a powerful, shining light to nonbelievers. Amen.

In closing, let’s pray for God to heal the division and chaos in our land and unite us once again as one nation under Him. I pray America will stand as a beacon of hope for every other nation in this world. Lord, guide us according to Your will and Your good plans for us. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord! Amen.
