2 cups grated cheese
1/2 cup butter
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 1/2 cups flour
Using a good processor, combine the cheese, butter, and spices. Add flour and mix until a soft dough forms. If needed, add 1 tablespoon of water to make the mixture form the dough.
Roll dough into two logs and wrap in cellophane. Put in freezer for approx a half hour. When chilled, pull out and cut 1/4” slices.
Bake at 400 for approx 10 minuets.
Also: If desired, I add a half pecan on each penny before placing them in the oven!
