She Believed She Could *with* Bracelet Giveaway

She Believed She Could *with* Bracelet Giveaway

God can drop something down in my spirit and even when I have NO DOUBT that it was Him, I still hesitate!

Sometimes it goes way beyond hesitation to the point where I’m pretty sure He’s already looking for somebody else to use!

We all have our own reasons why we don’t respond when He calls us to step out, don’t we?

“We don’t have enough faith, time, money, support, talent, vision, experience …”

Personally, my biggest excuse for many years was that I was afraid of failing!

Did you know that a fear of failure can be paralyzing?

You won’t just have trouble finishing things, you may also have a lot of stuff you never even started!

I didn’t believe I could, so I didn’t!

But would God ask us to take a step into something new and then let us fall?

“God is able to bless you abundantly,

so that in all things at all times,

having all that you need,

you will abound in every good work.”

2 Corinthians 9:8

When God asks us to do something, He is really just asking us to join Him in what He has already started.

We may be stepping into unknown territory, but He’s not!

And He will generously equip us to do our part when we respond to Him in faith.

Think about it:

God is NOT a created Being. There is no one like Him or above Him. 1 Kings 8:23

Therefore, He is not dependent on someone else coming through before He can assist you!

Our powerful Daddy stretched out the heavens, created all the stars, and performs countless miracles. Job 9:8-10

He can orchestrate the right circumstances to be set into motion in your life!

Our Daddy is rich! EVERYTHING belongs to Him! He owns the cattle on a thousand hills … Psalm 50:10

He can get the money into your hands if needed!

Our eternal Daddy is not constrained by time. His understanding is beyond us and He never becomes weary or tired! Isaiah 40:28

He caused the sun to stand still for Joshua … He can create ‘time’ for you where there was none before!

Right now, 2018 stretches before you like an open book with clean white pages.

But to God, He sees your story already written within those pages.

You see the front cover of the book. He sees the last page turning.

He already saw the beginning of the first chapter where He invited you to join Him.

He said “That’s my girl!” when you accepted His invitation. (Are you smiling?)

His heart was glad when you let Him move the wrong people out of your life.

He smiles as He remembers that look on your face when He came through with His provision.

He nodded when He brought the right friends into your story to help you come up higher.

A little closer to Him.

Awe yes.

Those God appointed relationships are so important!

Sweet fellowship with ladies who love Jesus as much as you do!

Those friends will always point you to Him.

They will encourage you towards your God given dream.

They will celebrate your victories with you.

Because they know that it’s all for the glory of God!

When you were a little girl, didn’t you ever wish you could step into that one special book?

A story where you found your true love and lived victoriously?

Well, sweet friend, God has already written your story!

And you are His leading lady!

Jesus is your true love and He has already overcome the world! John 16:33

There’s just a couple of things you need to do!

Believe Him and catch His vision for you!

Take Jesus at His Word because IN HIM, YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS! Philippians 4:13

So will you step into your story?

Jesus is waiting and He will NEVER fail you!

May God brag about YOU, His beautiful daughter: “She believed she could, so she did!”

“I am about to do something new.

See, I have already begun!

Do you not see it?

I will make a pathway through the wilderness.

I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”

Isaiah 43:19

  • Such encouraging words here! I have been so utterly bound by fear in the past. Mid 2017, God revealed that it was taking control of me…I was afraid of failing, I was afraid of falling. “But would God ask us to take a step into something new, and then let us fall?” Great post.

  • I love the reminder that my Father in Heaven owns everything. God has been whispering me to continue to trust Him even when difficulties and struggles arise, especially financially.

    • Praying for God’s supernatural provision in your life Beverly! Whenever I am in need, He always shows up but He tends to show up in ways I didn’t see coming. His provision will come but it may not be in the way you were expecting. Blessings to you! XO Donna

    • Gena, yes for sure! God sees the big picture but I have to look at it one step or process at a time or it overwhelms me!! Thank you for being here! Blessings, Donna

  • Your words are so inspiring! Thank you for reminding me of His wonderful love for me. I love these words, “When God asks us to do something, He is really just asking us to join Him in what He has already started” – beautiful words! Thank you for sharing your heart! Happy New Year!

    • That was a process that God began in my heart when I read Purpose Driven Life so long ago! It has helped me to see I don’t have to fear that I need to know all the details. I just need to join Him in His work! 🙂

  • Isaiah 43:19 is resonating with me! How exciting that He had ALREADY begun something new! I’m especially taking note of the question posed, “Do you not see it?” I think we must be prepared to intentionally receive and ask for eyes to see!

    • Hi Liz!! So glad you are here! I love Isaiah 43:19! I am learning to try not to kick and scream when little changes occur around me. God is always setting into motion His plans. He is in our ‘now’ preparing us for what He has already prepared for us in our future!! Love you! Donna

  • Donna, I love this! It was meant for me as I have several things in the works. Confidence is what I’m lacking in, but I know God can fulfill what He has asked me to do. I am so thankful He already knows the ending when I don’t even know the beginning. Thank you for this encouragement!

    • Thank you Lori!! Praying for Him to infuse you with His confidence! Praying that for myself also and for every lady here! XO Donna

  • Donna, love this so true God is our rock.. He will carry us through all things.. His love for us eternal.. We need to stop and listen and for me to step out of my comfort zone and speak His word more and more..

  • I love this so much! I’ve been paralyzed by the fear of failure too many times to count! I’m a work in progress, growing in faith and letting go of fear, but I still have my moments. Thank you for this beautiful reminder that God is present, powerful, and provides everything I need to accomplish what he lays on my heart to do! ❤️️

    • Bless you Annie!! I know exactly how you feel! Praying for us as we continue to grow in faith and learning how to put fear in its place when it tries to attach itself to us! XO Donna

  • I love this, Donna! So inspiring for the new year! I remember doing Experiencing God a LONG time ago, but the idea of joining in with God where He is already working stuck with me! It’s so comforting to know that while this year is unknown to us, it’s not to Him. Thanks for the encouragement and inspiration!

  • Donna, I loved this post and God’s perfect timing! 2018 is my year
for stepping into my story … the story God has always had planned. I’m so grateful He never gives up on us. 💗

  • “When God asks us to do something, He is really just asking us to join Him in what He has already started.” I love this! Such a good train of thought!! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

    • Thank you!! I am becoming more and more aware of God’s omnipresence. Anything He whispers to me, He has already been there and done that! I may not have passed that way before, but He sure has!! Happy New Year to you!! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

  • I love this! So much confirmation and word to stand on it! This blessed me. Thanks for stepping out and doing the uncomfortable! My favorite was, “Believe Him and catch His vision for you!”. This morning God was reminding me to Be still and know that He is God. He knows the story already. I just have to believe Him and watch it manifest! Many blessings to you!

    • Thank you Alyssa! Your comment blessed me! I am so thankful the Lord is confirming things for you! Praying for you that you will have a year filled with faith and hope! Blessings, Donna XOXO

  • Thank you for sharing such a heart touching message. Let us place all of our trust in God as this new year begin. He never lets us down. He is the one who want all the best for us. He always brings the right people into our lives at the perfect time. We need to let go of our fears and put our whole trust in the Lord.

    • Praying for the Lord to bring those relationships to you this year!! And He will! He has great plans for you! Jeremiah 29:11 XOXO

    • I am very thankful too Erendira!! His Grace is the only reason I’m even alive today for sure!! Blessings to you!!

  • This is so beautiful. It perfectly expresses the essence of what I believe. I especially love the part about stepping into the book…
Thanks for laying this out so beautifully.

  • This reminds me of a quote I was reading, “One day or Day one, the choice is yours”. Stepping out on faith doesn’t mean we know or have it all figured out it just require us to trust God no matter what it looks like. In my past I would hesitate to do things I know God was asking of me because I feared rejection. When I stepped out on faith and just trust God it didn’t matter how others perceived me. God’s strength is perfect in my weakness.

    • Tara oh most definitely! I have gone through that also! Praying for you to have a fearless year of believing God and stepping out into all He has for you sweet friend! XO Donna

  • I am looking for new pages in this new year. Where the Lord continues to write my life story. “She believed she could ” is basically a line from my life as well. When I stepped out on faith, I didn’t know what and where my next step would be. But God remains in control and ever faithful. Blessings Donna!

    • Awe blessings to you also Diana! Praying for you my friend! God has got you in the palms of His hands and will NEVER let go!! Blessings to you! XO Donna

  • God’s been whispering to me that “I can.” I think a lot of times I fall for the idea that the things I want to accomplish are just too far out of reach. But God’s telling me “I can.” And not just “I can,” but “Do It. Reach for it.” It’s been amazing watching God work things out and make things happen as I apply myself and keep reaching for the next thing.

    • I tend to look at it that way at times also! That the things I want to accomplish are out of my reach because I am looking at my own strength and abilities, and not God’s. Praying for you Lady! In Jesus, you can do it!! XO Donna
